Los Angeles native Elyse Wyman, earned her BA in Fine Arts (Cum Laude) from UCLA, where she studied with Richard Diebenkorn, Jan Stussy, Llyn Foulkes and Robert Heinecken. She furthered her art education in Paris, at L’Académie de la Grande Chaumière.

Pursuing dual careers in graphic design and fine art, she began as a graphic artist at A&M Records. She went on to design for American Ballet Theatre, American Film Institute, UCLA, United Airlines, Victoria’s Secret and Women In Film, among others. She currently heads her own graphics firm, DesignWorks, Unlimited.

In the area of fine arts, she has explored both figurative and non-figurative subject matter. Her current artwork combines diverse media such as sculpture, painting and photography, often with a focus on feminist art.

Her work has appeared in numerous exhibitions including those at Los Angeles’ Skirball Museum, UCLA, TAG Gallery, Los Angeles Art Association Gallery 825, ArtSpace Gallery, Los Angeles, Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, DCA Gallery, Mendocino Art Center, SeeMe Exhibit, “Herstory”, New York, and Contemporary Art of the Ruhr, Germany.
