About

Seta Injeyan was born in Aleppo, Syria. After obtaining her Scientific Baccalaureate in the Arabic language, she migrated to California, where she studied and graduated from the Art Center College of Design (Pasadena), with high honors. She fulfilled her desire to obtain an art education and acquire the best tools to start her journey as a painter. 

Seta Injeyan, a leading Abstract Surrealist, with her vision and expressive work continues the great traditions of female voices who have elicited an intimate link between the freeing of one’s psyche as imagination and rational mind, to liberating one’s thoughts from repressive societal structures.

Injeyan artworks have been selected by many curators for solo exhibitions in national and international galleries. She has been reviewed by renowned critics.Her artistic process has been described as ”an inner cosmological language sourced from the heirs of post-surrealist artists and her private iconography of dreams.” Her work is in many private and corporate collections.
