Della's love for fine art and the glorious human form has been the inspiration for all her work. She found her passion in figurative sculpture nearly 15 years ago, and in 1999 had her first show at the Brentwood Art Center. In many of Della's sculptures there is an imbedded message with a whimsical twist to portray her love of shapes and sizes of the human body. "I see humor and beauty in all body types and find that the humor intrinsic in human behavior is reflected in the body." She is currently working in terra cotta, bronze, stainless steel, and aluminum. Her sculptures are carnal indulgences with wit. Della has lived in the Brentwood community with her husband and son since 1972.
