Jane Peterson

Jane Peterson grew up on a farm in Kansas. She knew she wanted to be an artist at age 3. She ran away from home at age 9, headed for NYC to become a Beatnik. Her mom found her a mile down the road. She received a BFA from Kansas City ART Institute, and an MFA at The University of Iowa.
As an adult, she worked as a Photographer, Film Producer, Casting Director for Broadway, and ultimately a full-time artist in NYC. She moved to Southern California after 12 years in New York, and presently lives in Ventura.
Jane has been making Digital artworks since 1994, and she also works in oil, watercolor, and pen and ink.
