Vera Arutyunyan’s abstract paintings channel subconscious energy through spontaneous gestures, saturated color, and tactile surfaces; Marianna Baker’s fiber works unravel the expectations of a house wife through embroidery, soft sculpture, humor, and feminist inquiry; Somaya Etemad examines the relationship between costume, identity, and authority, bringing historical and political figures into a satirical dialogue about power and appearance; Garth Everett’s paintings explore light, shadow, and form through a refined dry-brush technique influenced by the traditions of the great masters; Elizabeth Gorcey gives visual form to grief, vulnerability, and shared human experience through emotionally charged oil paintings; and Wendy Tigerman builds spontaneous digital collages and assemblages through an intuitive process of image, association, and unexpected connection.
