From early on, and now through hindsight, I've found drawing to be an adventure into my own subconscious. All my drawings, as best as I can recall, were not planned, but rather developed as I placed pencil to paper. It was part of my growing ambition to create, to look at art as a pathway to expressing my views of the world. Those early ambitions now bear fruit.
About the Artist: Gary Polonsky focuses on the goals he has set for himself. To capture a thin slice of our "American" experience, in all of it's quotidian glory. By offering his humble attempt producing something beautiful, fun, and lasting. Something, that hopefully reminds us of the wonder and richness of now.
