Gary Polonsky Food For Thought
December 1—January 2
“Despite the sadness and turmoil that we are experiencing, I’ve found that my artwork has a very grounding effect on my sanity,” explains TAG artist Gary Polonsky. “The food series allows me continue my exploration of what makes us ‘normal’.”
Breaking from the flat surface of traditional painting, Gary brings 3D fine art to a new level of depth and focus in his “food” series. His work combines paint and canvas with balsawood, styrofoam and wire-mesh to create larger-than-life sculptural constructions.
“I hope my current work will be a small, and tasty reminder of those simple pleasures,” encourages Gary. “Enjoy!”
Food For Thought runs December 3 – January 2, 2021 at TAG Gallery, 5458 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036. The gallery is open 11am -5pm, Tue-Sat.
