Their Holiness, the Rainbow Majesty and Hollywood Coming,
WeHo Jesus 3.0
Jesus 3.0 is the next coming of WeHo Jesus (AKA Hollywood Jesus, Rainbow Jesus).
Their Holiness, Jesus 3.0 is a performance art resurrection from West Hollywood artist, K Ryan Henisey, inspired by the original presence of neighborhood performer Kevin Lee Light. Jesus 3.0 is a secular, pop art reading of the Christ symbol, focusing on messages of contemporary advocacy through fun, kindness, and community. Jesus 3.0 was granted a Public Performance Art Grant from the City of West Hollywood and appeared in numerous city walks over the summer of 2021.
Resurrecting WeHo Jesus is a retrospective of the performances, displaying Jesus 3.0 costumes, new pop art inspired by the Christ symbol from artist K Ryan Henisey, and photographs and videos depicting Jesus 3.0 in action. Jesus 3.0 will be in attendance at opening and closing night events.
Photos of and with the Lord of Rainbows are encouraged.
