Starry Night explores TAG Artist Sunny Kim’s curiosity about the mysteries and majesty of the universe. Each canvas acts as a vessel for the endless possibilities the cosmos offers.
“The beauty of the Universe extends far beyond what one sees in a photograph of the heavens,” explains Sunny. “I try to capture the emotions associated with the vast incomprehensibility of the cosmos, the expanse of eternity, and the perfect union of chaos and order.”
Sunny’s canvases are charged with kinetic energy, marrying various color formations, brush strokes, patterns, and material in chemical reactions that mimic the expanse of space. The exhibition is a universe of its own, comprised of individual pieces that take patrons on a unique visual adventure.
Artist Sunny Kim has attended the Seoul National University College of Fine Arts, Parsons School of Design in New York, FIDM in Los Angeles, and has exhibited in Los Angeles, Korea, France, Japan, China, Hong Kong and New York.
