About
Suzanne Budd is a Canadian born mixed media painter with a studio in West Los Angeles. She enjoyed her first public arts experience at the age of eight when she was chosen to paint a store window on the main street of her small town depicting a Halloween scene. During her teenage years Suzanne studied painting with Richard Diebenkorn at UCLA's Extension School. Further exploring her love of painting she spent a summer at L' École des Beaux-Arts in Fontainebleau, France and soon after received a BFA from UCLA. For many years she had an award-winning graphic design studio, Budd Graphic Design specializing in corporate and hospital design. Suzanne now devotes herself fully to contemporary non-representational painting. She is a member of Tag/The Artists Gallery, Los Angeles Art Association, Women Painters West and International Association of Art-USA. Her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions and resides in many private collections. The Morgan Stanley offices in New York City and San Francisco display six of her paintings.
