“The title of my show pretty much says how I feel during the Great COVID Turmoil of 2020. I wrap up this $#*&%@ year with my personal statement using similar techniques and fresh imagery for the occasion.” Ex- plains TAG artist Thomas Wheeler. “A collection of socially-distanced images from the middle of the night”
Using methodology often described as “painted-light” photography, Thomas creates heavy imagery and light with emotional statements. Thomas crafts his fine art images with hand-held light-emitting tools such as acryl- ic rods, sheets, cubes, by not producing anything post-production, or via Photoshop.
No One Will See This Show runs December 3 – Janurary 2, 2021 at TAG Gallery, 5458 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036. The gallery is open 11am -5pm, Tue-Sat.
