Ernie Marjoram artwork explores the idea of renaissance painters by redefining western art. Using materials, tools and the technologies available in these modern times, Marjoram believes what if 21st century artists could have explored the new subjects of today and what could that potentially look like.
“My early exposure to the original works of renaissance painters was while living in Florence, Italy. Which has been a major influence on my art. Inspired by these master artists, I strive to achieve a high degree of realism and craftsmanship in my own drawings and paintings. Imagine what Leonardo could have done with a laptop!”However, technical achievement is not my final goal.”
