TAG Gallery presents Small Works, a collection of gift-sized artwork from member and local artists, December 16-January 8. An artist reception will occur, Saturday, December 18, from 6-9pm.
Small Works is open to local artists only, 18 year or older. Artwork must be no larger than 24 inches (including the frame) on its longest sized. All artwork must be priced between $250 and $1,000. No shipped artwork will be accepted. ("Local" is defined as anyone willing to hand deliver artwork to our gallery in Los Angeles)
Accepted artists, curated by gallery president K Ryan Henisey, will bring up to twenty (20) wall ready (framed and wired; no saw-tooth or d-rings will be accepted) or pedestal-ready works for approval. NOTE: NOT ALL ARTWORKS WILL BE APPROVED FOR DISPLAY. No more than twenty (20) artworks will be accepted from any single artist. Up to five works (5) from each artist only will be displayed at a time, in TAG’s East, South, & possibly Sky Galleries in a cash-and-carry show focused on holiday gift-buying. Purchased artworks will be replaced with artwork not already displayed.
A $150 hanging fee is charged to all accepted artists. TAG Gallery accepts a commission of 50% on all sales. There is no fee to apply. (Why a hanging fee? We chose a hanging fee over submission fees for this opportunity because of the rehanging needs of the holiday retail experience).
All accepted artwork must be delivered to TAG Gallery on Saturday and Sunday, December 11 and 12, from 11am to 5pm. All remaining artwork must be picked up by the artist or their approved agent from 3-7pm, Saturday, January 8, or 11am-5pm Sunday, January 9. No exceptions will be made.
Please send a single email with up to five (5) image samples of your work to info@taggallery.net. Images must be no larger than 1MB and in jpg format.
