Sticks/Stones opens May 11, 2022 at TAG Gallery, 5458 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036. TAG is open 1pm-7pm, Wed-Sun
Native Angelino and contemporary painter Susan Spector today announced her first solo show, Sticks/Stones, set to exhibit at TAG Gallery starting May 11, 2022. Departing from her usual abstract figures, Spector drew inspiration from a crowd-sourced project during lockdown, wherein she received more than 100 responses from people around the world, answering the question, “What is a phrase from your past that has stayed with you forever?” The collected entries were funneled through her artistic interpretation to create the Sticks/Stones text-based collection. Following the opening reception on May 14, 2022 from 5-10pm, Sticks/Stones will remain on exhibit at TAG Gallery until June 4, 2022.
